Behind some of America's most disruptive protests lies a network of wealthy donors, activist organizations and alleged foreign influence — and Fox Nation is following the money to uncover who's fueling the unrest.

"This is a domestic terror threat with billionaire funding," said Fox News' Will Cain.

Cain hosts the new Fox Nation special, "Riot Inc." which examines the forces behind some of the country's most contentious protest movements amid a wave of political unrest drawing comparisons to the turbulent 1960s and 1970s.

CHAOS INC.: COMMUNISTS, ANTIFA, AGITATORS IN THE RED-GREEN ALLIANCE

From anti-ICE demonstrations to pro-Palestinian rallies and broader anti-government protests, the special explores how organized activist networks, wealthy benefactors and potential foreign influence may be helping turn political grievances into coordinated campaigns.

"The red-green alliance is something we have to maintain and monitor here," warned Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., in the special.

"The United States was not founded on those principles, but it doesn't mean that other people are [not] trying to infiltrate and destroy from within," she added.

Luna's warning comes among a slew of others featured in "Riot Inc.," as lawmakers and experts raise concerns about the influence of outside interests on American protest movements and the potential national security implications of coordinated unrest.

Independent journalist Nick Shirley is among those who have witnessed the threat firsthand. He offered an exclusive account of the dangers he says come with exposing alleged corruption and confronting activist groups across the country while critiquing the rhetoric that repeatedly flares into violence.

"They have got these brainwashed individuals to think that this is what they need to be doing with their Saturday," he told Fox Nation.

"It's a lot of sick people that are being used by these organizations to cause chaos here inside the United States," he added.

Shirley finds irony in the clash between protesters' eagerness to be heard and their outrage at his eagerness to record them. He recalled a particularly tense encounter in which a suspected Antifa member followed him and threatened his life as he walked away.

"One of these Antifa members starts following me, trying to push me out of the protest, saying he's going to smoke me," Shirley recounted.

Fox News Digital's senior editor of investigations Asra Nomani also appears in the special, relaying the role of tax-privileged nonprofits in keeping demonstrations thriving.

"It's a machine, and it's an industry..." she said.

"America created this nonprofit system to reward people who do charity work... just like our protests of today are not like our grandmothers' protests of the 1960s, the nonprofits that exist today are not the American Red Cross that was established decades ago. They are now agents of political operation..."

As scenes of violent unrest continue to capture national attention, Cain raises a central question: How much of the outrage unfolding on America's streets is actually grassroots, and how much is being fueled by powerful interests behind the scenes?
