Sylvester Stallone's 'Tulsa King' season 4 teaser sparks fan frenzy: 'The king is back!'

The Sylvester Stallone-led "Tulsa King" has released a teaser for the upcoming 4th season and fans are champing at the bit.

On Sept. 1, Paramount+ released the minute-long clip on social media platforms with the caption, "The king returns, but how long will he reign?"

Stallone stars as Dwight Manfredi, a New York mobster who builds a criminal empire in Tulsa, Oklahoma after serving 25 years in prison. The teaser opens with Dwight being targeted by someone posing as a police officer.

While tensions rise with Bill Bevilaqua and Quiet Ray, Tyson appears to get in over his head, and Mitch and Spencer grow closer.

"You can’t get rid of me," Stallone says at the end of the preview.

Fans took to YouTube and Instagram to share their thoughts on the teaser clip.

"The King Is Back!!!!" one user wrote on YouTube. "Sly is back can't wait for this season," another added.

"Yes!!!! So excited!!!" another user wrote on YouTube. "OHH SHOOT I CANT WAIT," another praised.

Over on Instagram, a user commented on the trailer: "DWIGHT AIN’T PLAYING! LESSSS GOOO."

"No one runs an entire city quite like Dwight Manfredi. Bring on the new season of Tulsa King!❤️," another added. "Can’t wait! Congratulations, Sly," a user wrote.

Going into Season 4 of "Tulsa King," Dwight has expanded his operation but faces rising pressure from dangerous rivals, law enforcement and political forces.

His crew remains loyal, though shifting alliances and the cost of his ambition leave the future of his empire uncertain. Season 4 will find Dwight fighting to protect what he built while deciding how far he is willing to go to keep his power.

"Tulsa King" stars Stallone, Martin Starr as Lawrence "Bodhi" Geigerman, Jay Will as Tyson Mitchell, Garrett Hedlund as Mitch Keller and Frank Grillo as Bill Bevilaqua. The confirmed newcomers to season 4 are Gretchen Mol, who plays Tulsa politician Amanda Clark, and Eden Lee, who plays Maya, the governor’s chief of staff.

"Tulsa King" season 4 premieres on Paramount+ on Oct. 16.
