Chad Lowe's daughter, Mabel, mourned the loss of her younger sister Fiona.
Mabel, 17, shared a carousel of images with her sister in a heartbreaking post shared on social media over the weekend.
Fiona died at a Los Angeles hospital on Sept. 29, according to the County of Los Angeles Medical Examiner's office. She was 13.
Her official cause of death was ruled a suicide, per the County of Los Angeles Medical Examiner's office.

"I love you so much fiona," Mabel wrote on Instagram. "I wish your short time here was easier and i hope your mind is at ease now. I will honor you forever and keep your memory alive. I love you, i hope you knew just how much."
A number of family friends sent condolences during the difficult time.
Jeremy Renner wrote, "Bless you dear Mabel 🙏🏼🙏🏼. ❤️🩹 My deepest condolences to you and the family."

Jessica Capshaw noted, "What a beautiful tribute to your sister ♥️♥️ I have had you and your family in my thoughts and prayers and I’m sending you all so much love."
Kimberly Williams Paisley added, "Mabel, we’ve been thinking of your family all week and sending you prayers and so much love," while Selma Blair said, "I wish for so much for you in her memory."

Fiona was the middle child of Lowe and his wife Kim Painter. The two have been together for nearly two decades, building a relatively private family life away from much of the Hollywood spotlight.
"We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona," the family said in a statement provided to Page Six on Tuesday.

"She was a loving young girl who was smart, creative and loved to dance," the statement continued. "She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents. In fact, she was the light of our lives."

"Her passing is devastating for our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time."
The family concluded its statement by encouraging anyone struggling with mental health issues to contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.
Lowe, the younger brother of actor Rob Lowe, is an Emmy-winning actor and director best known for "Life Goes On," "Pretty Little Liars" and "9-1-1: Lone Star."
Painter is a producer and casting professional whose credits include "Enemy of the State," "Ted Bundy" and "Instant Dads."
