Today is Halloween, but Arizona Cardinals safety Budda Baker got into the spirit a day early, showing up to his media availability in costume.
According to The New York Post, dressing up for Halloween is a tradition for Baker. However, this year’s costume created an awkward situation that highlights a workplace risk few people consider when dressing up for spooky season.
Baker is one of the names floating around the rumor mill as the Cardinals trend toward becoming sellers at the NFL trade deadline.

So, while Baker rolled in dressed in a creepy clown costume, the journalists there still had to ask him about the trade rumors.
And to his credit, he answered them... while still in costume.
"I just live in the present, like today, having a great time with you guys," Baker said. "Going to go out and have a great Friday practice, and just focus on playing against the Dallas Cowboys and trying to get a ‘W’ at their stadium."
It's a good answer, but until you read it, did you have any idea what he was saying? Or, like me, were you distracted by the fact that he was dressed like a clown that drives a primered van and steals people's organs?

If you're a doctor, it might seem like a good idea to dress like a Minion on Halloween. But what about when you have to deliver the news of someone's terminal diagnosis and the zipper is stuck?
Suddenly, it's not as great of an idea, is it?
I mean, maybe it'll have some kind of Patch Adams effect, but I doubt it.
Fortunately, an NFLer addressing trade rumors isn't that serious, so we all got a hilarious Halloween moment.
Now, moving forward, I bet Baker will factor trade rumors and whether or not he'll have to address them into his costume choice.
